Personal Project - Development

Once I had my finished my lettering, I felt that I needed some way of displaying these, through an illustration. This is the first development that I created. It is very simple, almost abstract. It is created from just three elements, a coloured background, a black outline of the letter, and a white solid letter. I chose fairly bright colours, as to represent the circus and all of the letters are off centre and bleeds out of the coloured square. I like how simple this piece is, and my use of space, as I have a tendency to try and fill a space with unnecessary imagery.
